BLUE SUGAR DESIGNS
1. Validity of Quote
This quote is valid for 7 days from the date issued. Prices may change if specifications, materials, measurements, or site conditions differ from the information provided.
2. Deposit & Payment Terms
A 60% non‑refundable deposit is required before any design, artwork preparation, material ordering, or production begins if the order is over R5 000. The remaining balance is payable on completion, prior to installation or collection. Ownership of all goods remains with the business until full payment is received.
3. Consumer Protection Act (CPA) Compliance
All services are supplied in accordance with the CPA. Clients have the right to clear information, fair service, and safe installation. The client is responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring safe access to the installation site.
4. Artwork, Design & Approval
Final artwork must be approved in writing (email, WhatsApp, or signed proof). Once approved, the client accepts responsibility for spelling, colours, measurements, and layout. Any changes after approval may result in additional costs and extended timelines.
5. Production & Lead Times
Production timelines begin only after the deposit and written approval are received. Delays caused by the client (late approvals, changes, unavailable access, etc.) may extend delivery dates. Urgent jobs may incur a rush fee.
6. Installation Conditions
The client must ensure safe, accessible installation conditions. Additional charges may apply for:
- After‑hours installation
- Structural issues
- Obstructions or unsafe conditions
- Additional hardware required on site
If installation cannot proceed due to site conditions, a call‑out fee may apply.
7. Warranty & Liability
Material warranties follow the manufacturer’s terms.
The business is not liable for:
- Damage caused by weather, vandalism, misuse, or third‑party installation
- Fading due to sun exposure (UV), unless a specific UV‑resistant material was quoted
- Structural issues with the client’s building, walls, or surfaces
8. Cancellations
Deposits are non‑refundable. If production has started, the client is responsible for all costs incurred up to the cancellation date.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, layouts, and artwork remain the property of the business until full payment is received. Custom artwork may not be reproduced, altered, or used elsewhere without written permission.
10. Client-Supplied Content
The client confirms they have the legal right to use any logos, images, or content supplied and indemnifies the business against any copyright or trademark claims.
